Pours a deep copper yellow, with thin white head which slowly dissipates, leaving some okay lacing. The aroma is kind of sour, and malty, but has a redeeming sweetness of grains to it. The taste has a lot of malt going on here, and better than I expected, due to aroma. A toasted flavor and a citrus bitter bite at the end as well, but super malty, overall. The mouth feel is quite thick and creamy, satisfying medium bodied and medium carbonation.

I like to enjoy a good Maibock anytime I come across one from this elusive style. Glad to see the brewery have this on tap recently. Deep golden color and a modest white head with some splotchy lacing. Extremely clean with a faint toasty and nutty background. Noble hops and grass. Mighty fine indeed.
