750 ml green bottle, Lot 985, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Nearly clear blonde colour, large white head. Pleasant aroma of malts, spicy yeast and stewed yellow fruits. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour has distinct notes of spicy yeast, stewed fruits and herbal hops. Well balanced.

750 ml capped bottle bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Esquelbecq glass an unfiltered cloudy rich golden-amber coloured ale with a two fingers slightly beige creamy foamy head that quckly disappeared. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is sweety malts, grainy, yeasty, barnyard, sourish notes. The flavour is sweet malts, yeast, a marked citrussy hoppy bitterness, notes of honey, noticable sourish notes and a touch of spice, pepper. This medium bodied ale has a dry hoppy bitter finish.A pleasant farmhouse brew from the French Flandern.

Bottle: Poured a dirty beige color ale with an average foamy head with some average retention and no lacing. Aroma of light tart notes with some typical Belgian malt. Taste is a mix between some tart notes and some lightly sweet Belgian malt. Full body with lots of lees and some average carbonation. Not bad but nothing standing out of the ordinary.

Hazy pale yellowish golden colour, huge fluffy head. Aroma is sour apple along with spices. Flavour is spicy (bitingly spicy) along with some wheat and sweet grassyness. Big spicy finish.

pours a slightly hazy blond colour, very foamy, solid hoppy nose showing notes of grapefruit and lemon; a respectable malt body maintained by a good carbonation, robust bitterness; long fruity and hoppy finish with some residual sugars - sharp and very pleasant

04.16.05 Brewtopia ’05 From 750ml. Pale with tall hite head. Grassy hops, hopped up flavor, dry finish. Light, effy, and fun. Good way to start the day.
