A very light-tasting porter with lots of plum and dark chocolate flavours. It goes down smooth and full of flavour with no bitter or astringent aftertaste common to some dark beers. The nose smells of toasted coconut with hints of black licorice. Sweeter than some porters, Publish or Perish boasts notes of vanilla bean, plum, raisin, and dates with a slight hint of bitter chard on the finish.
