We are Kelti and Kris, the founding owners of [Theoretically] Brewing Company– the first production brewery to open in Lethbridge since the Molson/Pilsner plant closed in 1991. We have had the immense pleasure of meeting a lot of interesting people from around the province over the past year of business, so we think it is high time we properly introduced ourselves! Kelti is a 2012 graduate of the University of Lethbridge. Over 5 years of University earned her a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, with a particular focus in architectural history. While attending school, Kelti worked numerous jobs, the coolest of which was as Editor in Chief of the Meliorist Independent Student Newspaper from 2011-2013. She has worked many jobs in the last decade, until finally quitting her last job (as a lab technician at LensCrafters) to pursue her dream of running her own business. She is engaged to Matt Baird, and they look forward to their wedding in September of 2017. Kris is also a graduate of the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelors of Science and a Master of Chemistry in Organic Chemistry. In addition to his role of Brewmaster at the brewery, Kris works as a Chemistry Instructor at the University of Lethbridge. He is an avid home-brewer of both wine and beer, black smith, armourer, medieval combatant, glass blower, and all-around tinkerer. He is the mind behind some of the rather ingenious contraptions employed regularly at the brewery. He has been happily married to his wife, Elaine, for…a long time…
