Four malts, two hops and a neutral yeast is all it takes. This American (Robust) Porter is a bit richer and hoppier than its British counterpart. Subtly sweet dark chocolate dominates the nose and palate. Dark brown with copper nuances, it has a medium-body with balanced hops to keep it a very easy drinking beer. Its subtle roastiness makes it ideal for the cooler months.

Taps opaque dark chocolate with a decent buff head. Aroma gives dark chocolate, roast malt, toffee and earthy tones. Flavor yields dark chocolate, roast malt, caramel and subtle toffee notes. Texture provides fair fizz and body. Claw up to the bar for a crater.
