Little Brother is in the vein of a Belgian dark strong ale. By Northwest standards an 8.5% beer may not be considered strong, but it is currently the biggest beer Beetje produces. It pours dark brown, with shades of ruby and a creamy tan head. The flavor is dominated by caramel, and candy and offers a smooth finish. Chocolate and coffee begin to emerge as the beer warms.

On tap @ The Commons. Tea brown pour with a creamy head and nice lacing. Ripe fruits, caramel and toffee in the rich aroma, some light roasted maltiness. Big flavor with a nice rich caramel sweetness, ripe cherries and other fruits, hint of chocolates and nuts. Very rich. Thank you Travis.

Dark fruit and candy spice on the nose. Caramel-lighter brown in color. Prickly but sticky too. Bready yeasty flavor with roasted malt and chocolate. One of the better Commons brews.
