Pours a slightly hazy amber-red color, with a small off white head which leaves behind a bit of lacing. The aroma is light; I pick up some pine hops and a light rye malt flavor. The taste is caramel and rye malts, more pine hop flavors and a bit of citrus as well with a nice balance of sweet and bitter on the finish. The mouth feel is medium to light in body with lively carbonation, somewhat smooth and fairly creamy.

Bottle provided by the king of oHIo, another good one from the brew kettle. Pours a nice clean amber with lots of frothy head. Big nose on this one, rye, hops, and character. Good body and aggressive hop flavor play really nice with the heavy rye in this. Well made beer as I have come to expect from these guys, love all their stuff, thanks Cory!

Assertive rye providing a dry spicy quality balanced by sweet caramel and citrus hops. A great medley of textures and flavors. Light to medium bodied, tasty and well put together. Huge white head with lacing that coats the glass. Copper~amber in color. Nice showcase of rye with a good supporting cast of American influenced players.
