Comes out of the tap a beautiful golden amber - head was thin, but this is apparently an artifact of the pour. Folks at Taco Mac like to make sure you get your money’s worth. Hoppy aroma is not strong, but still invites a taste with its fruity and rye tones. Flavor is better than what the aroma promises - strong, hoppy, with rye and citrus undertones, the latter a mixture of grapefruit and Mandarin orange. Firm texture has good fizz and sass. Rye-d with this one!

Comparing to some other new IPAs that I tasted last weekend, this was one of the better standard ones. Preferred it over Red Hare's Gangway IPA. Sort of like Magic Hat's Ticket to Rye...although that one was a little better and richer in flavor. This had a lighter feel, not too malty nor hoppy while keeping a decent strength. Probably going to get a tacklebox soon so that I can update this along with some others.

Fantastic balance between the spicy, dry rye and the floral hops. Thanks to a co-worker who gifted me a couple bottles as he is more of a malty type of dude. Standard IPA visuals (clear copper body, 1/2" off white head and strands of lacing). Passion and citrus fruits with some pine and a hearty rye addition. Light bodied, zesty and wonderfully bitter without going overboard. Straightforward and all business upfront while the party is in the back.

This poured a yellowish orange color with a white head. The aroma contains some rye but more citrus is showing through IPA style. The flavor is rather bitter with some citrus, namely oranges, and pine. Again the rye is a bit hard to detect but it aint no thang for me. Overall this is a good beer.

Clear amber/copper pour, medium white head, adequate lacing. Mellowed rye, earthy pine and citrus hops aromas, some sweetness and light caramel. Smooth yet lightly bitter flavor, citrus, pine and rye, malty sweetness. Tasty.
