This is the recipe that won a Silver Medal at the 2010 World Beer Cup. Mark created this beer in honor of his father, Bob Duchow, whom we will always miss. Great viscosity with a spicy rye finish. Subtle hop flavor and aroma.

Very impressive 43% rye malt beer, it nearly half rye, who else does that? Not to mention the beer is tasty and easy drinking. Hope they keep this one around, seems like a winner.

Had this on tap at Vintage brewing yesterday. Pours a semi clear orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is herbal, grassy and pear nose. Rye flavors definitely come out in the taste. Nice sessionable beer.
