One of my new favorit Summit brews--too bad it is only limited release. I would like to see this year round, maybe even as a replacement for their IPA. Pour is dark brown; aroma of rye and plenty of earthy, floral hops; bitter taste. I love the addition of rye to a hoppy beer--the two flavors seem so complimentary.

Featured at the Malt House right now on tap, and it sure is pretty nice! Really digging the Unchained series. Pours a reddish colour with a nice beige head. Aroma has that distinct rye character (you know what im talking about) with lots of hops. But balanced all the way. Taste is full, creamy and dry. Slightly bitter, fruity and astringent.
