A robust porter aged in a Balcones Bourbon Barrel with caramel crystal malt, chocolate malt, white wheat malt, hopped with Galena, Cascade and Mt. Hood hops... with a strong English Ale Yeast. Amazing.

From Brewers Summit - Paired with Belton Farm Farmhouse Double Gloucester cheese. Slightly murky brownish pour, slight to medium cream head, some lacing. HUGE whiskey and bourbon aroma - probably the most I've ever gotten from any beer - caramel, vanilla, oak, nuts, woodsy, more bourbon and booze, very ripe dark fruits, some toasted malts, cocoa, earthy hops - an amazing nose, beautiful and inviting. First taste is the bourbon whiskey, then it mellows, oaken vanilla, roasted malts, caramel and toffee, more bourbon, malts, some cocoa, light hops, slight alcohol sting which is very warming and welcoming. Big boozy bourbony beautiful brew. Could not have been done any better than this! GREAT pairing too.
