Strongbow Cider

Rerate, 275 ml clear bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.3%. Golden colour. Pours moderately fizzy with no head to speak of. Moderate aroma of cider apples and sulphites, hints of oak. Thin and watery mouthfeel. The very moderate flavour is quite dry, with notes of oxidised cider apples and sulphites.

OK, it’s a cider. Aroma is crisp and fruity, as expected. Pours a nice clear golden with a thin white head. Firm, crisp flavor is fruity, like your good old apple juice but with a kick. Smooth texture has minimal fizz. OK, as I said, it’s a cider, but a good one.

Pours a apple juice body with a very thin ring. Aromas of apple with a touch of cinnamon, pretty nice. Smooth mouthfeel with a slight and quick carbonation bite. Flavor of apple and a touch of malt. Overall not bad the flavor fades a bit fast but it not bad.

5th percentile?! Really?? Kinda shocked. Sweeter all around than some, with a pungent bittersweet aroma and flavor. Nothing that makes you say wow, but nothing to tell me why this is ranked so low.

On tap from Boyd's Jig & Reel, Knoxville. Light clear pale yellow, no head nor lacing. Sweet light honeyed apple aroma, some sourness. Mostly sweet apple flavor, some tartness, light and easy. What I expected, no surprises.

pours a nice golden yellow with virtually no head, but is nicely carbonated. A nice apple aroma rises from the glass and tastes almost like (surprise surprise) applejuice. It's nice and refreshing and mixes well with food, a nice change of pace once in a while. I usually only drink ciders in the spring/summer.

A very good, drinkable cider. It has a nice apple flavor, good sweetness and a decent dry aftertaste. All in all it's better than any I've brewed myself.

Strongbow is an apple cider. I'm not really into cider but I can enjoy this. Not to sweet and the taste of apple is really present. When served in it's own glass and chilled over ice it looks great.

This is the fourth cider I’ve tried. The color is fine enough. Bright crystalline yellow. And a soapy ringlet. But the smell seems so artifical. The body is medium and there is a smoothness. The taste is like the nose. The apples while dominate don’t seem as natural as I’ve tried earlier this evening. Drinkable and fine, nut....

Smell is sweet, drank it from a can so i really can't account for the appearance. Taste is citrusy and apple, and you can taste the alcohol in this one. Not all that impressed.
