After brewing this intense double IPA with more than 10 different hops and consistently delivering it faster than any bottled IPA on the planet, we decided to do something different with this Stone Enjoy By IPA—we took it to another level, again. Puréed tangerines were added to the batch to create a devastatingly fresh IPA with a tang of tangerine. The flavors yielded by this addition to the recipe meld beautifully with the bitterness of the hops. True to this series, Stone Enjoy By Tangerine IPA is brewed specifically NOT to last, and should be enjoyed within 37 days. HOP VARIETIES NUGGET, SUPER GALENA, SIMCOE, DELTA, TARGET, AMARILLO, CASCADE, GALAXY, CITRA, NELSON SAUVIN, MOTUEKA & HELGA

(22oz 10/31/16) - Small white head which collapses fairly fast. Dusky golden body. Nice light hoppy aroma. Liberty perhaps? The tangerine really comes out in the flavor with the first sip. That’s followed by a ramping up of bitterness on the end, which lingers for a while on the palate. Almost a slight perceived chalkiness in the mouthfeel. Wonder what this might’ve tasted like had I had it before the enjoy by date?

Medium sized white head with good retention and a fair lace. Lightly hazy, copper hued brew. Grainy, citrusy nose, mild. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Fairly dry malts, hint of caramel, fruits and citrus, light grain. Was expecting something a bit more,,, vibrant? Dry, citrus finish, tame bite. Pretty straight forward and unamazing. Medium quaffability. Bomber from statelineliquors.

Rated July 2016. 22oz bomber pours with a clear pure gold body that supports a thin white head. The aroma pulses with malt nuanced dank onion, tangerine and tangelo. Nice. The taste delivers a rich blend of tangerine, tangelo and spicy bitter garlic and onions. This is solid front to back with citrus juicy richness and a deep hoppy bite. It ends as it started creating a tongue-o-luscious experience. Love it.

Had the 10/31/16 version. Pours clear golden with a nice, thick buff head. Aroma delivers firm resiny hop note with tangerine and malt providing support. Flavor features resiny hop, tangerine and fresh malt notes for a truly enjoyable IPA. I like it when the fruit character is a secondary player, not the star - IPAs are supposed to be hoppy! Mouthfeel offers good body and lively fizz. Beer wishes and tangerine dreams!

Enjoy by 10/31/16. Sort of forgot what the original tasted like to compare. Cloudy medium orange appearance. Decent amount of malt and hops, but the tangerine adds some extra sweetness and citrus notes. Stone usually has top notch IPAs, and this another great addition to their family.

12 oz bottle, enjoy by 05.30.16. Pours clear copper gold with a big frothy white head that retains well and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is citrus fruits and piney resiny hops.

The flavor is fruity piney resiny hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, I like additional fruitiness but it tastes slightly chemical. I like the original slightly better.
