An eschatological ale.. big, bold, hoppy, and gold. built sturdy enough to withstand the apocalypse.

Comes out of the tap hazy yellow with a decent eggshell head. Aroma has yeasty, malty, and floral components, inviting a taste. Flavor is yeasty and malty with some hops and a subtle floral note. Texture is about average in both fizz and thickness. If not outstanding, certainly enjoyable. Just follow your nose - or whatever.

    12oz bottle -

Golden yellow body, clear with a sturdy white cap. Aroma seems pretty traditional of a Belgian ale, soft malt profile, prominant yeast esters, fruity with a touch of light spice. A grassy flavor, a spot of citrusy hops, yeast and lightly spiced. Refreshing and easy to drink.

Clear dark golden pour. Aroma and flavor yeast driven and a little sweet, but with a decent dose of grassy hops (though this was bottled in June). I like the balanace and the interplay. Big body warms as it goes down, but doesn't show heat. Nice brew.
