Served in stone Krug so hard to tell appearance. Aroma is typical pilsener, typical German. Like taste, nothing special to report. Great beer as I am drinking this in a Ratskeller having a Schnitzel. (Plauen 201308)

Bottle. Poured an unfiltered medium amber colored beer with a two fingers slight beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is stinky, soapy, barnyard,( may be infected ? ), toasted caramel malts. The flavour is toffee grainy malts, straw, a touch of floral hops, hint of smoke ( ! ). The mouthfeel is creamy and watery. This light to medium bodied beer has a slight bitter finish. I am disappointed.
