A ruby-red raspberry beer with a luscious, pink head, our Frambozen is inspired by the centuries old Belgian tradition of brewing beer with raspberries. This high gravity brew undergoes a slow second fermentation with tons of fresh, whole Fraser Valley raspberries. The result is a ruby-red fruit beer with a intense raspberry flavour, a nice tart finish and a luscious pink head. (On tap in mid June.)

After wandering Hastings with a big SLR camera slung around my neck for 20 minutes, apparently begging for a mugging, I finally sat down for some pints seconds after the bar opened. I wish I would have started with a different beer. Bright red amber, clean white cap and ok lacing. Cream Soda hits my nose first, turns more into raspberry later on.. ok smell I guess. Taste... candy, alcohol, odd bitterness - is it the bitterness giving this taste? Has a menthol feel on my breath, sour, weak raspberry, euro grain, meh. Medicinal hops. Ouch.
