At first i thought the beer was off cauese of my toothpaste but i eventually realized it was just off. Lots of wheaty taste on the attack, minimal aroma and attack.. trails off rather quickly with little aftertaste. Pretty medicore.

Second brew tonight of the St-Urbain series. Pours a clean bronze colour with little to no carbonation. Off-white head that is foamy and does not stay as long as their blonde. A bit of lacing sticks to the glass. The aromas are pretty much the same as the blonde, and so is the mouthfeel. Again, that not-so-good metallic taste appears in the taste. The malt is different in this one, obviously, to make this a red lager. Meant to be dranked in the bottle though. I think I prefer the blonde.

Bottle: Poured a light brown color beer with a small bubbly head with minimal retention. Aroma of unrefined grain with some light adjunct base sweetness. Light body with low carbonation. This is pretty bad overall thought not as much as I expected. I guess it tread in the same water then Rickards does.
