Porter was developed over 300 years ago for London dock workers, who carried heavy cargo to and from the ships. In Ireland it became "Stout", but Porter persists to this day as a dark, full-flavored, full-bodied brew meant for hard work as well as relaxation. St. John's Porter is a serious drink to be enjoyed with or after meals, as part of the dining experience.

This is not a porter, and whatever it is, it is awful. Another from the 12 greatest beers in the world gluek style. Here is what I said about it many a year ago when i had this beast "So they call this one st johnsbury, So all i can say after having this one is that st john's bury his face in my ass, cause this was fucking horrible. Seriosly, does anyone actually think that anything from the old eouropean brewery is actually any good. Dear lord, does history not repeat it self, is dust not dust, is shit not shit, is old european not the worst shit ever imaginable, i mean serousiouly, if they all told me back in the day to make a product that resembled shit and creeped the hell out of everyone I would have just said, Fuck, here's the recipe for st johnsbury. Brock and Funk, I know that yall have a taste for this flavor, but every once and a while we all take one for the team, we all make a SACracife, we all actually enjoy what were doin."
