July 2015: 330 ml bottle, BB date 15. Apr. 2014, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. (Think I have a 750 ml corked bottle somewhere too.) ABV is 6.5%. Hazy golden to orange colour, large white head. Grainy and mildly spicy aroma. Medium dry and mildly spicy flavour, refreshing. Tolerable hops in the finish. Okay.

Single from the LCBO. Pours a hazy golden-blonde colour with a huge frothy off-white head, everlasting and some creamy lacing. Nice vivid carbonation. Fruity aromas at first, more on the orange side, but turns quickly to lemons with some hops coming out and mild Belgian Ale yeast. The taste stays on the orange side with some very light bitterness in the finish and yeast in the aftertaste. Slightly oily mouthfeel. A little rusty flavour comes up from time to time that bugs me, but overall quite nice when this one is not there.

Pours a huge frothy white head and has a cloudy orange amber appearance. Thick dirty lacing. Aromas of citrus hops and light malty notes. Flavours are mainly citrus, earthy and herbal hops. Some hints of yeast and malts as well. And bit of a tangy finish on the palate. Full bodied mouthfeel with a mild tingling sensation. Pretty good.

The beer pours a hazed metallic gold with a 1" white bubbly head. The aroma is funky yeast, light citrus, and grassy. The mouthfeel is light bodied, and quite champagny. The flavour is yeast, honey, and citrus up front and a graininess in back -

Pours hazy golden orange color with a nice 2 finger dense off white head that reduces to a nice cap. Aromas of lemon, pepper, grass, orange zest, biscuit, earth, light funk, and yeast spices. Taste of lemon zest, pepper, floral, orange, bread, grass, clove, lightly tart grains, and yeast spices. Great balance of flavors with the spiciness. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a fairly creamy and prickly mouthfeel. Overall this is a very enjoyable saison. Nice balance, complexity, and easy drinking.

Hazy golden yellow with white foam head lacing to glass. Aroma is slightly bittersweet, citrus, leaves. Taste is as promised by aroma, somewhat high carbonated. Nice long aftertaste. (Velp 201209)

Draft @ Saucer, bday 2011 .. . bitter honey with a light dryness .. light to medium mouth .. medium finish .. . yellow gold, strong foam .. . a great session non thinking brew .. . . Uh, because I have a small role in a Broadway musical. It's not much, but it's a start.

the cork looked like it wanted out, and sounded like a gunshot, but no foaming. way fruitier in aroma and taste (and less spices) than the Hennepin, and a touch of tart at the end. Would be a nice soft beer except for the overcarbonation that is almost common in so many belgian beers. takes away from the feel and overall experience, but it's still pretty good.

Sampled 9/11/2009. This saison pours a slightly cloudy medium orange color from a 750ml bottle. Large sized white foamy head, with good retention and nice lacing. The aroma is floral, orange, malty and a touch yeasty. A medium bodied saison. The malts are fruity and sweet, with hints of orange, peach and pineapple. The hops are earthy. Nice lively carbonation. Some nice spiciness here as well. A very enjoyable sipping beer, perfect for a warm summer evening. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet and spicy.

Love it! Traditional blonde in color with a decent white head. Aroma is grassy sweet. Mouthfeel is full and round. Flavor is fantastic, alcohol well hidden, bit of a sweet tangy finish though.
