I have really become a fan of smoked porter and other smoked beers... reminds me of another sport I enjoy - Scotch whisky. Drawn deep brown to black, rather opaque when held to the light. Aroma of peaty smokiness and roasted malt. Rich and smooth on the pallette. Light hops on finish with more smoke... tasty.
