A delicate balance of toasted malt and fresh hops give this medium-bodied German-style lager an intriguing, complex malt flavor. A creamy head, deep golden color and an impressive hop bouquet make this a very special beer. Malts: Caramel, Caravienna, Munich, Pale; Hops: Cascade, Mt. Hood; Sizes: 1/2 and 1/4 Barrels, 16oz Bottles

Comes out of the can a clear and pretty amber with a thick, if none too persistent, pale golden tan head. Malty aroma is none too strong - maybe the can didn’t do this beer justice. Flavor has malty and fruity notes with a hoppy and slightly bitter undertone; the bitterness nicely balances the fruity sweetness. Nothing special, but refreshing and more than just palatable. Smooth texture has typical body and fizz. Maybe not worth tweeting all your friends, but fine for a laid-back afternoon or with lunch.

Clear deep amber with three inches of creamy, sticky tan head. Smell is bready with some sweet malts and floral hops in the background. Taste is smooth, sweet malty up front, some drying hops and a yeasty biscuity finish. Nothing earth-shattering about it's taste, it's just a good straight forward, well balanced amber.

5.4% ABV- Decent hop for an amber. Light brown murky appearance. Aroma a little caramal and slight citrus. Flavor has some caramal malt and light citrus as well. Sweet start- bitter finish. Mouthfeel is crisp too. 2nd sample from Sprecher and liked each one. Very drinkable for the spring/summer season.

Not a bad session beer, it's a light vienna but it still has all the telltale flavors, unfortunately it has almost no aroma. Easy to drink, mildly hopped for balance, and overall not terrible.

A beer of the month club entry for may/june 2011. Pours a nice burnt amber color withe a medium head. Rather full bodied malty brew that has pleasant hints of bitterness tucked in here and there around the edges -- another good with a meal beverage.

I had this beer while on a work trip in Milwaukee. This beer was a decent amber. It had nice color and crisp flavor expected from a Vienna style beer. I would have this again. Not bad.

Courtesy of the Wisconsin beerman, pfoxyjohn. Pours a clear amber with a nice frothy white head and some lacing. Some carbonation. Aromas of sweet toasted malts with a very slight ripe fruitiness and slight hops. Taste is rich and creamy with a slightly toasted malts and hops finish.

Not the best amber I've had but still pretty good. Pours a clear amber with a small head, aroma is hoppier than I expected but still some malt evident. Smooth finish but not extraordinary.

Pours mostly clear amber with short, lasting head. Aroma is balanced with light maple topnotes. The flavor is clean and balanced with an astringent finish. Light bodied, but not watery, with effervescent carbonation.

Sampled from bottle, thanks to pfoxyjohn. Pours amber as advertised with short head. The aroma is delicate with faint hops and toasted malt. The flavor is slightly sweet - almost balanced lots of bready malts. Very quafflable - an enjoyable session lager.
