Mahogany pour with a thin white head. Zero lace on the glass. Sweet malty flavor with slight hop presence. Overall a nice beer but no need to try again.

Pronounced malty aroma and flavor that dominates over the clean, crisp moderated hoppiness. Full bodied and complex without the weight associated with some dunkels.

nothing spectacular, but a good session beer at the least. looks...um...like the picture. smell is sweet malt, honey, earthy hop balance. body thin but fits the style. could be better, could be worse, easy drinking flavor.

Presentation: It was poured from a green 12oz bottle into a Pilsener glass. There was no noticeable freshness date on the bottle. Appearance: It has a deep reddish amber body that is very dark but also has good clarity. On top there is a thin light tan head that fades quickly down to a ring of lacy foam. Smell: The aroma has just a simple sweet caramel malty presence with no hint of hops at all. Taste/Mouth: The flavor has a candy like sweetness with caramel, light roasted notes and very light floral hops in the background. The palate has a sweet malty finish, soft carbonation and a modest medium body that is very drinkable. Notes: It reminds me of a lighter bodied, average tasting bock beer. It’s simple and sweet but not cloying, so I could see myself drinking a few more of these.

A mahogany colored beer. A frothy white head, is small and disappears all too quickly. Not much lacing is left behind. Nose is sweet bread-malt. The body is short of moderate. Everything’s good so far. And the tasting. This is a bad deer. I get a skunkiness in the flavor. Hurry and be done if only not to waste.

Pours a clear deep amber with a minimal head and little lacing. Decent carbonation. Mostly malty aromas that is slightly sweet and a touch of hops. Taste is a bit thin with the sweet slightly toasted maltiness upfront then a little honey and alcohol.
