Future Occasions is a deliciously daring 8.5% West Coast Double IPA that was brewed with local Mississippi Mills pilsner and dry hopped with local Centennial plus Pacific Northwest classics Columbus and Simcoe. The result is an assertively bitter beer that is balanced with slight residual sweetness and a hint of alcohol warmth. The extensive hopping adds herbal and tropical notes as well as some red fruit.

Lightly unfiltered, amber colour with golden highlights. a big frothy warm head, lasting a while and leaving some good lacing. Farmlike aromas with some notes of dark fruits, hints of fruitiness and a base of caramel malts. Gets hazy as it pours with particles. Again, farm notes in the flavours with a caramel malt base, and some good grassiness from the hops. A good Double IPA West Coast style that hits the spot.
