Better Late Than Never Blood Orange IPA is our latest juicy & hoppy release. Brewed by the ladies of Spark, we went big on the dry-hop using the 4th annual Pink Boots Society hop blend of Ahtanum, Cashmere, Loral, Citra, and Sabro. On top of that we added a bunch of blood orange and we got a beer bursting with fresh & bright citrus notes. A sweet aroma is followed up by a soft body with a lingering off-dry & tangy finish.

500ml bottle from the brewery pouring a hazy pink-peach colour, an off-white pinkish foamy head, decent retention and little spotted lacing. The blood orange fruit does smell at first, but calms down to show caramel malts, yeast and eventually, hops. Citrus zest with some more of the fruit juices in the flavours. Refreshing mouthfeel with just enough dryness in the finish. A good, not-overly fruity IPA with well-hidden alcohol.
