This is the weirdest colour. Most lagers have some hint of gold or amber. But this is a fawny light brown straw....with almost a pink blush in it. Good white head, and bubbles. Green, vegetal hop aroma... maybe a touch of green mango but a slight hint of dry sherry. I think this bottle may be slightly oxidised. Good hoppy flavour, and some toasty malt notes. An interesting nutty flavour backs it up, perhaps supporting my oxidation theory. Lightly bittered. After a second bottle, I am definitely picking up a dry sherry flavour (nutty, slightly rancid). All up not a bad tasting beer, just a bit disconcerting. I've had a lot worse.
