500 ml swing-top bottle. Poured a slight hazy red copper or ruby-brown coloured Keller with a two fingers beige pillowy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Mid-sized carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is toasted amd caramelized malts, hay, barnyard. The flavour is caramel malts, yeast, bready, dried fuits, nuts and grassy hops. The mouthfeel is slight crispy, a bit oily and quite smooth. This light to medium bodied Keller has a slight bitter finish. The palate is quite better than the really unpleasant nose.

Fränken Bierausflug, Day#2, Brewery#8, Beer#15. Interrupted a quiet men's night out at Josef Herbst's Brauerei-Gasthof-Hotel Sonne for several brews. This lively kellerbier poured vom Faß into a krug with a billowy white short-lived head above a copper colored body. Fizzy mouthfeel, fresh and lively aroma of hay. Good malt flavor and well-hopped; ends quickly and a little thin.
