Off the tap at Closed for Business on King Street in Charleston... WOW! This is an incredibly robust beer that is a benchmark for others. Draws deep, deep black with a thick, creamy head that has that "just right" look and feel to it. Deeply roatsed malts with toffee and chocolate and perhaps a hint of sweet cherry combine for a complex aroma. Velvety smooth goodness on the pallette - coats and soothes... Flavors are as deeply complex and match the aromas combining for a true sensory delight. If you're in the South Carolina area, seek this one out.
