355 ml slimline can, as Sixpoint The Crisp Pilsner, from Vinmonopolet Verksgata, Stavanger. ABV is 5.4%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma, with notes of grassy and floral hops. The flavour is medium sweet, and not as crisp as the name suggests. Decent bitterness in the finish though. Okay, but hardly a beer I’ll buy again.

Golden yellow with a faint haze. Small white head settles to a ring quickly, then dissipates. No lacing to speak of. Crisp, grainy/grassy aroma transitioning to flavor. Non-offensive, and true-to-type, just not a standout.

A bright yellow-orange sunshine colored beer with a big sudsy textured white head rising above. There's excellent hang time on that head. It settles into a thick, persistent cap and ringlet. Good nose presence. The total profile has grassy hoppiness coming forward. A crisp, dry finish.

Lots of sour fruity yeast in the nose followed by some flowery and piney hops notes and maybe some honey, nice nose! Nice pale amber body with steaming bubbles is topped by a perfect egg whites head and good lace. Mouth is just a touch thin but fine for style, a bit slippery and a bit creamy. Mild flavor quite hoppy for the style. Not complex or perhaps subtly so. Quite bitter, touch of sour, gonna let it warm just a bit. ........ Yeast is the major component here with hops kicking in at the end and a touch of sweet at the start. Very nicely done! NEW NOTE: 11/29/2013 Really nice with turkey diner!

Comes out of the tap a beautiful clear golden with a thick ivory head. Woody and surprisingly hoppy aroma is not strong but has a good fruity core. Hoppy, woody, fruity and malty aroma has a hay-ish undertone. Firm, woody, crisp, fizzy texture has a hay finish. Is this a pilsner, a cider, or an IPA? Whatever, it is quite drinkable.

It pours a light golden yet hazy orange/yellow body. A two and a half inch white foamy head that fades slowly. Carbonation is very light and seen rising slowly. There is some nice spotty ringy lacing left. The smell has Saaz hops coming out fairly strong, yet there is still a good sweetness in the smell. The taste definitely blends the Czech and German styles very nicely, the bitter hops blend nicely with the biscut malts. The mouthfeel is about a light to medium with nothing harsh on the tongue, just an all around good feel. It leaves a slight dry aftertaste. Overall, its a pretty nice beer.

Nice as far as pilsners in November go. :) Crisp, clean, grassy hops and slightly cereal leaning sweetish malt. Thin and light, but refreshing, and does nothing wrong style-wise.

This Brooklyn beer was enjoyed in Brooklyn itself. Under the name "Sixpoint The Crisp". Pours a clean golden colour with a small foamy head and not much lace. Nice pilsner nose with the light saaz hop. Medium-bodied with a tiny stickiness. Good grainy taste with the Euro hop showing. Light bitterness with the cereal malt. A pretty good American pilsner.
