Beast Mode Beast Mode Beast Mode pours chocolate lab with ruby highlights. The nose is downright beastly - coffee, roast, hops, caramel. The texture is medium bodied with roasted bitterness upfront on the tongue, followed by sweet toffee and malt on the tail end. The beer finishes dry without any lingering bitterness. Lots of bark but it won't bite - just a howler and growler. Keep the fire going, and the ritual. Love your beast... It's Mad Science.

Upon the pour its the color of watered down coca cola, plenty of reddish hues in the glass, The head is a pale tan and is receding quickly. Aromas is rather hoppy, with orange and fruits, not typical for the style, but it smells nice. Flavor is also hop forward with a sweet caramel malt back. Overall this is more of a hopped up red ale,no porter characteristics to speak of, its a nice enough beer.
