An average Finnish lager. Tasted good on the sundeck of the Helsinki - Tallinn ferry though (on tap), but then most light lagers / pilseners go down easily when the sun is shining!

Clear light yellow with no foam head, just a small white ring on the edge. Aroma is malty, taste is malty, little sweet. I was thursty, so at that moment it did perfect. Short bittersweet aftertaste. (Helsinki 201211)

Why can't American made lagers (that are mass produced) be as bitter as this? Because it'd never sell to John Q. Buddrinker that's why! Why'd I even ask.

So the beer pours out a very light golden yellow color, filmy scant head up top, with a few bubbles milling about down below. Even after several swirls, there wasn't much bubble action to notice. The aroma was grainy, a touch of hay. Flavor was pretty standard in terms of the lager style. A bit corny, a touch grainy but it had a really nice bitter kick at the end. Suprised me to be honest. Easy to drink and easier to enjoy. Nice beer to enjoy on a warm February day!

Bottled. Yellow, nice white foamy head. Aroma is bitter and malty. Bitterish flavour, pretty watery. Pretty standard Finnish lager.
