The brewmaster's pet. This rich and complex black beer has a smooth, deep, roasted flavor. The chocolatey-coffee finish in this brew comes from a mix of crystal, black, and chocolate malts.

Comes out of the tap an opaque, warm, chocolaty sable with a thick light tan head that leaves some good lacing. Smoky aroma is downright ambrosial, with mocha and burnt hops notes. Delicious flavor has notes of smoked wood, quality coffee, chocolate and molasses. Firm body has good fizz and a lip-smacking fizzy and smoky finish.

this one can hold it's own with Great Basin's porter, but i still prefer GB's. nice aroma of coffee and chocolate malt, less than full mouthfeel with more of the same in the flavor as the nose. their #3 regular brew.
