Something new by Sierra. Looks like they are testing out some new flavors with these beer camp variety packs. This IPA doesn't work for me as well as some of their others. If you like the floral feel, then this could work for you, but I prefer the clearer/smoother hoppier IPAs....or if malty, then heavier than this. Actually, the more I sample this...it's nicely balanced. Just seems like another middle-of-the-road / safe-conservative IPA.

The floral IPA was one of the best ones in this beer camp pack. It was very pleasant and very floral. It was still crisp and clean. It did have a nice bouquet of sweet lavender and citrus orange peel that was very pleseant. I would love to buy this during the year.

Suspended floaties throughout the pour in all three bottles proved to be a distraction from the medium copper colored body with a generous head and thick lacing. Mildly bitter with a light to medium body, tacky and slightly empty finish. Some pine and nuts that were second fiddle to a nice flowery, caramel and biscuit profile.

Of the 4 offerings in this year's Beer Camp set, this one sounded the most intriguing. This is pretty much a "light" IPA (as far as SN goes) but the addition of rose hips sets it apart from other IPAs I've had--they pair nicely with the hops and show through in both flavor and aroma.

I've been drinking a lot of sessionable hoppy brews lately and really liking em. what this lacks in light body in color, it makes up for in an intensely hoppy dank flavor and aroma. Weed-like hopsm cutrus, and interesting florals from the rose hips play very nice together.
