Here in Shiner, TX, we raise a glass to tradition. So, for our 109th birthday, we'e celebrating with a limited-edition beer inspired by the homemade brew enjoyed after a long day in the fields. Our Farmhouse Rye is made with Munich Wheat and Rye, then coarsely filtered for a hazy and flavorful finish.

A golden-amber colored beer with a three fingered sudsy textured, whute head rising above. A moderate ringlet is left. Earthy hoppiness in the nose. More of the same. Any potential from the spiciness of rye is lost in this watered brew. Reminds me of a macro-lager.
