Hops abound in this triple Belgian ale, brewed with three times the normal amount of pilsner-malt to build on plenty of raw rich material, and an 'over the edge' amount of Hallertau and Aurora hops. Just to make it perfect with a great hoppy nose, a full round complex mouth-feel and a lingering beautiful hoppy aftertaste, in perfect balance with the glow of the 9.5 % alcohol by volume. Refermented in the keg (keg conditioned) to infuse the softness and easy drinkability of the natural carbonation. Brewery Van Steenberge craftsmanship by excellence! House beer for Sharp Edge in Pittsburgh.

Had on Draft @ The Sharp Edge Creekhouse in Pittsburgh,PA .. . last beer before jetting .. thick lacing .. quite a boozy brew .. . hard honey and a touch of yeast .. . long bothersome finish .. . has such a bite to it, good aftertaste though .. . . note to self: must buy hand held tape recorder, then i will no longer be speaking into the garage door opener..

Feb 19, 2009 Updated: Feb 20, 2009 On draught. At sharp edge creek house first-class place! Ovr the edge S5L2F1T4O6: Ignore my numbers, this is an on style hoppy otherwise Belgie! I’m not attracted to high alky belgie brews. Sweet candy perfume aroma, easy and friendly to the olfactory. Taste is Belgie with a bitter hop er something bite. Very nice lacing! Barely any, if any, carbonation. A little too much for this lager lover. Ignore my numbers if yer into this style, it’s precise, accurate and on target. Builds to a linger bitter back of throat experience near the end of the session.
