I missed this one during the summer, but just found this beer on clear-out sale for 4.99 for a six pack. Comes in a sealed box, so should be OK (no best before date on label). New style, orange label, in standard brown bottle. Pours a clear golden color, slightly darker expected. Bright white foam, but didn't leave much head. Clean smell with some grainy malt. Not much aroma or flavor in this one. A bit malty, and grain, but not the sour aftertaste like some other macros. Overall quite pleasant. Nothing special, but a good summer-type brew. Goes down easy, could easily chug a few to beat the heat. Good carbonation keeps it bubbly and light. The more I drank, the more I liked it. Even at full price would be worth it. Will keep it in mind for next summer.
