Part of their Trail Mix 4-pack, pouring a clean copper colour with some ruby highlights. The head is big, frothy, slightly creamy with very good retention and some foamy lacing patches, waves. Roasted malt aromas giving some dark fruit notes with hints of chocolate and molasses. The flavours show mostly the roasted malts with some decent hops in the finish. Lightly grassy and some dryness comes out of it. An easy porter with a nice dry end.

The beer poured a coca-cola black with a thin creamy tan coloured head. Lacing was present but minimal. The aroma was coffee, vanilla, roasted malt, milk chocolate, and slight hints of smoked wood. The mouthfeel was medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was very coffee forward with notes of dark chocolate leading to a very bitter finish.
