When the world looks harsh by the light of day, go for a moonlit mosey. Softly sweet roasty malt and cocoa notes dance with a lightly fruity and spicy, moderately dry saison finish.

Part of their Trail Mix 4-pack from last season. Clean copper colour with ruby highlights. The head is huge, light-beige, frothy-soapy with good retention and foamy lacing. Roasted malt base aromas with some cacao notes, hints of molasses, dark fruits and grassy hops. The Saison style gets a little lost in here, as the darker aspect takes control. Chocolate malts in the taste with the grassiness of the hops creating a dry finish, lingering. Not a bad stronger dark brew, with the alcohol well-hidden enough and a good hoppy end.
