This is the first of our Second Shift series. These are one-offs we are brewing, inspired by our surroundings and past experiences. This is our award winning chocolate porter with extra spices reminiscent of the oaxacan mole sauce. We combines California, Pasella, and Chipotle CHILIES with CINNAMON, CLOVES, and COCOA nibs to create this ROBUST porter packed with flavor to warm you up this winter. Parings include - Pork or beef tacos, stews and chilis, gruyere cheese, and chocolate desserts.

Growler. Pours an opaque chocolate brown that lets through a little daylight at the bottom and has a very thick, fluffy tan head that hangs around for more than a bit. Roast malt aroma has overtones of cocoa nibs and a spicy hint. Flavor has malty, nutty, toasty, and chocolate tones; pepper is quite subtle. Texture is a wee bit thin for a porter, but has good strong fizz. Ole for the mole!
