Light copper colored pour with a medium white head. Plenty of lace. Aroma was spot on pumpkin, spice and clove. Mouthfeel was solid but nothing special. One of the better pumpkin beers I've had.

Definitely in the upper tier of pumpkin ales (though not quite the best - Good Gourd, Elysian Great Pumpkin, Night Owl, and Almanac Pumpkin Barleywine are the top 4). Sneaky 8% only shows in the body, which is robust and super super smooth. Malty, with a good sweet pumpkin flavor and mild to moderate use of spices. Finishes rich and warm.

The best pumpkin beer I've had. Period. Deep red copper pour, very tight creamy head, beautiful lacing throughout. Wonderful spiced and pumpkin/squash aroma and flavor, nutmeg, cinnamon, biscuits, roasted pumpkin, baked butternut squash, light toffee, really like the best pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving. Fantastic pumpkin beer, if you're into pumpkin beers. I am.

Found this at the local Casey's General Store; very surprised. Copper/orange pour with a big head. Smell of nutmeg, cinnamon, malts, vanilla, cloves. Nice pumpkin pie flavor, why not call it pumpkin pie beer instead of pumpkin? Anyway, flavorful and smooth. I was surprised by this beer, very enjoyable.

Thanks to the parents for bringing back a selection of pumpkin beers from their last visit to the States. Tasted a couple different bottles to compare side by side. Deep copper colored beer with a small white foamy head. Thin lace was left after the foam shrunk to a thin cap. Smell has some spice, caramel, grains, but not a lot of pumpkin. A flavorful beer with good malt base, nice blend of clove or other spice, touch of hop at the end. Medium bodied, maybe a bit thin. Good, but not the big pumpkin/cinnamon flavor and aroma I was hoping for. A solid and well made brew. This was one of the better Pumpkins I have tried.

Poured to what looked like liquid pumpkin pie color. The aroma was filled with nutmeg and pumpkin spice. This beer isn't an overpowering pumpkin taste and is a nice and mild flavor. This is a very nice pumpkin beer. Very well done.

What an effort for a first/only offering. The spices compliment the malty/sweet flavors of barley and pumpkin. Ginger adds a nice edge and cuts through the cinnimon which tends to linger for me. Smells like spiced pumpkin beer moreso than 'pumpkin pie in a glass', for a change. Thinner mouthfeel, and lacking a nice stand of head, but the flavor more than makes up for it. Very nice.
