Malty and wheaty aroma has a strong overtone of raspberry. Others may not like this, but I LOVE raspberry! It pours a slightly hazy darkish amber with a fluffy white head. Wheaty flavor has raspberry and yeasty undertones and a hint of malt. Texture is minimally fizzy and a bit on the watery side. An OK beer nevertheless, perfect for a party or by the pool.

A decent refreshing brew. Definately notice the raspberry, but didnt feel that it was overpowering. Nice on a hot summer day. Very light body, and light to moderate mouthfeel.

I bought this beer from MacaDoodles liquor store in Jane, MO. Seemed to be a fresh beer. Pinkish color. Nice aroma. Hazy. Not a bad beer. I'll have it again.

Another pick from the 8 Pack "Beers From Around the World International Summer Collection". 12 oz long neck brown bottle with a 'Bottled With Love on' date Apr 13 2007, label as pictured. Poured an apricot orange color, with a foamy white head that had a slightly pink glow, a rosy glow. Aroma of wheat malt, raspberry sweetness. Wheat flavor with a bit of spicy hops, and of course raspberries. The fruit flavor starts bold, but is quickly gone, giving a dry finish. Schlafly has lots of good unique beers, and this is a very nice summer fruit beer, but sorry - Wild Rose Wraspberry beats this one.

Sampled on draft at the Tap Room, STL. Pours cloudy pink lemonade in color with an adequate white head and notable lacing. It's quite an attractive beer. Aroma was subtle, tart raspberry. I hate it when I get a strong blast of fruit before I imbibe. Fresh raspberries dominante the flavor with only hints that a hefe is somewhere in the background. Since this is listed as a fruit beer, I'd say it is a great flavor for the style. Light-bodied and moderately carbonated with a dry, crisp finish. Both serious beer drinkers and newbies alike should find favor with this Schlafly offering.

Whoa this was fruity. I had this months ago, but remember it very vividly because it didn't taste like beer, this tasted like something that would go on shortcake or icecream. No noticible wheat, yeast or hops, only raspberry. Very watery and lacking carbonation.
