Unfortunately this one was rather tamed down, the rye and hops were both toned down from the original recipe, and it showed. Still a damn fine brew and extremely easy to drink. It really fit the bill on festival day with temps into the low nineties. Spicy rye and hops in the nose. Lighter, drier mouthfeel and a spicy, lighter flavor. I need to try this with some spiced up red beans and rice or gumbo, man that would be sweet...
