Aroma of grapefruit and grass. Nice cloudy colour and a thick head but it turns thin rather quickly. What I look for in an IPA Fruity and hoppy, but not overly hoppy or bitter. Oh it's hoppy just not pucker inducing. You can also make out the secondary flavours, like grapefruit, Matter of fact it's more citrusy than hoppy. Highly drinkable, even when warm.

Hazy golden colour pour with a large fluffy white head good retention and lacing. Pine, grapefruit and melon aroma. The sweetness from the malt blends well with the bitter pine and grapefruit. There's also some herbal and floral flavours in there. Once the palate gets used to the hop kick the beer gets progressively better. Medium slick mouthfeel. Should have bought more than the one Lone Pine

Pours a small amount of frothy bubbly head and has a cloudy coppery appearance. Somewhat weak lacing. Nice aromas of floral and citrus hops as well as toasty malts with hints of nuts. Fairly bitter at first, pretty aggressive with hops, which includes earthy, floral and spiced hops, a fair amount for all. Bitterness and sweetness is well balanced. Some mild notes of caramel in the finish. A bit yeasty as well. Fairly astringent and warming sensations. Pretty lively carbonation. Really nice balance of hops and malts. Really impressive stuff.

Single from the LCBO and first Sawdust for me. Pours a rich golden-amber colour with a frothy white cap that stays long and gives out thick bubbly lacing. Beautiful fresh hop nose with some grass and grapefruit citrus. Hints of sweet fruits and burnt malts eventually come out. Wet mouthfeel, but well-balanced with some light dryness from the hop and great bitterness. Behind the pine-grapefruit is fine malt balancing everything with notes of grains. This is pretty well-brewed West Coast IPA. Highly recommended.

On tap: puts a hazey orangey-amber ale in the glass, decent cap, great lacing on the glass as it goes down. Aroma is a citrus heads dream - lots of grapefruit, some mango, some resinous hopping over sweet malt tones. Medium to med-heacy bodied this has substantial mouth feel. Flavout seems malt accented at first then the citrus, fruits and resinous bittering flood the palate. Long drying finish with a citrus kiss at the end. Not the best IPA I’ve ever had but very very good - particularly for a new brew op. Bravo dudes, you scored with this one.

I tried this beer on cask on March 30,2012 at "C'est What" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy orange gold swith a creamy long lasting 1" tan head. Aroma was pine, citrus, and some grassy hints and some caramel tang. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour has a lingering grapefruit bitterness that hung around long after the beer was gone. There was some cereal and pepper in the flavour as well.
