Average Pale ale. Clear light copper color with off white head. Most head disappeared quickly but left some lacy bubbles on the edge throughout the whole beer. It has a medium hop flavor with a very slight floral scent. Goes down very easy. Nothing special or outstanding, but still a good beer. I will drink it again.

Has more personality than paler saranac ales & lagers I’ve tasted. Says ’classic english lager’ on the label, but not quite. A little less pale than other american pale yellow beers and has a bitter aftertaste. Couldn’t find the sweetness that others did in this beer. Has that typical Saranac flavor in the background. Did I say it still has a bitter aftertaste? will not buy again.

Pours clear copper with assertive tan head. The moderate aroma has notes of roasted malts, caramel with faint soft floral hoppiness in the background. The taste begins with mildly dry roastiness and a pulse of floral hop that seem to become increasingly more grapefruit like in hoppy tartness. The hops never reach a hoppy level but manage to just nudge out the malts midway and into the finish. The malts and hops become earthy along with faint dark fruitiness as the taste ends.

A reddish/copper amber color with white head. Sweet malt aroma fills your nose. Rich full flavor malt with a just a hint of sour taste that sets it off.

Decent sized, light tan head. Clear copper colored brew. Sweet hop nose, slightly fruity, nice. Medium body, good mouthfeel. Good hop flavor with a balanced maltiness complimenting them. Well balanced. Good intro brew .

Comes out of the tap a nice orangy amber with a thick, fine-bubbled, pale tan head that hangs around for a bit. Fruity aroma has a malty undertone and hints of honey and hops. Malty flavor has firm fruity and woody notes with hints of caramel, hop bitterness and honey sweetness. Texture has above-average body and a fair amount of fizz, leaving a tingly and woody finish. I have a feeling that pale ale fans will like this ’un.

Golden darker yellow color with small white foam head. Lacing to glass. Aroma is nice bitter hops with malt. Nice bitter tate with some flowery tones. Short dry bitter aftertaste. (Conrad 201210)

has a nice caramel aroma, pours with a nice amber color with a decent head that stays around for a while. Its an easy smooth drink with a clean finish. Nice enjoyable beer. bought as part of a sampler pack. Wish more brewerys did this.

A copper color with a white head. The aroma contains some caramel, citrus, and herbal notes. I just farted so that is really messing up the aroma rating. The flavor is a rather malty with some caramel, biscuit, and toffee going on. Considering the source this is pretty good.

My first foray into the Saranac line and holy cow am I impressed! What's this a grassy aroma? I thought this was a pale ale not a Pils lol. Very piney tasting PA reminds me of more an English style than an Anmercian style.
