Malty aroma has a definite overtone of blueberry - and I love blueberries. Pours a typical clear yellow with a decent whitish head. Blueberry dominates, but does not overwhelm, the malty and refreshing flavor. It is a bit sweet, but fruity sweet and not overly so. Smooth, mildly fizzy texture leaves a nice blueberry finish. Good for a summer day - or an early autumn one. Or anytime of year.

Sampled on 8/30/2012. This fruit beer pours a slightly hazy orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head with decent lacing. The aroma is blueberry, wheaty and sweet. A medium to light bodied fruit/wheat beer. The malts are fruity and sweet, lots of blueberry flavor, more in the aroma than the taste. The hops are earthy. Decent carbonation. A nice balance between the fruit and the malts. A touch sweet, but it is a blonde ale, so it’s not all that unexpected. Drinkable, but I like the aroma better than the flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Pours a cloudy dark golden color. Smell is bursting with blueberries. Taste is subdued compared to the smell, some blueberry, bitter at the finish. Overall a refreshing summertime beer.
