A fairly typical blandish Midwestern ipa. Not huge on flavor or aroma but not offensive either. Decent amount of resin but that's about it, pretty tame despite the name.

Unfortunately despite the name, this beer isn't much of a wild ride. A very simple tame IPA that is true to the style. There aren't a lot of surprises here. Quite refreshing though

On draft at the Clark Street Ale House. Pours a cloudy, pale amber color with a small white head. Faint smell of hops and a bit of citrus on the nose. Bland and bitter. As a big fan of IPA's, this was quite a disappointment. Not sure I will revisit. Too many other IPA's to try. Luckily, I only got a sample sized glass, but it was enough to let me know it's not for me. Certainly not a drain pour, but below average to average at best.

A very good IPA. Had this out of the bottle. Pours a brownish orange with a light minimal head. Aroma strongly of hops with some citrus to it. Same with the flavor, all hops right away and then the citrus kicks in at the end.

On draft at the Clark Street Ale House. Pour was nice, full amber color, nice initial head with good retention and lacing. The aroma was herbal/earthy hoppy with some citrus in there too. The flavor followed suit, the herbal/earthy hops the feature of it all, floral hops also appearing in the flavor. Gentle hints of caramel, the way I like my IPAs, generally speaking, not overloaded with caramel. The mouthfeel was moderate, a nice drinker, my favorite of the evening.

Pours a cloudy orange with thick, long lasting white head. Very hoppy, citrusy aroma. Hops come thru on the taste as well--very citrusy, grapefruity--with a nice, bitter finish. Very solid IPA.

I was lucky enough to share a sample of this with the Owner and Brewmaster of Sand Creek Brewing at their tasting room. It poured a clear golden color with fluffy white head. It had aromas of pine needles and forest floor. The mouthfeel was full and round with flavors of pine, flowers, and a slight bitterness level. Very tasty.

From a bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a white head. TONS of sediment, which I don't see anyone else having in their reviews, but I had a lot of it. Excellent aroma, grapefruity and hoppy. Flavor is mellow, but well balanced with a nice piney/citrus aftertaste. A really good beer.

Lots of hops! You can smell them right away and throughout. Good head and lacing left on the glass. Strong hints of citrus and touch of pine. Citrus aftertaste. This one is great if you're a hop-head.

I don't know if I would say this was a wild ride, but i did definately enjoy this brew. This generously hopped brew pours a cloudy orange colour with a large floral white head. Aroma is slightly piney with lots of fruit and taste is citrus, acidic and well hopped.
