Poured a very cloudy golden color with small head and light lacing. Aroma was of citrus fruits coriander and some vanilla. Flavor was of lots of berries and wheat. Pretty bland overall. On a positive note wife said this one was inoffensive.

Bottle from SL. The pour was fairly typical for the style, orangey color with a bit of haze and a nice head that yielded good lacing. Didn’t notice much pink or red about it. The aroma was cranberry juice, oranges, no spicing really that evident, perhaps some bananas. The flavor followed suite, again, lacking the coriander/clovey/spicing elements I was looking for. Wheaty base evident, though, slight bite in the finish, maybe an abnormal touch of hops present? Pretty drinkable if not for the too-much-fruit aspect, that stinking cranberry juice element. Mouthfeel was moderate and on par with the style, decent carbonation.

this was an interesting beer, although not one of my favorite SA offerings. like the blackberry wit...fresher on tap most likely, but i won't find that here, so all in all, a refreshingly unique, but just about average, beer experience.

I don't normally like cranberries but I can make an exception for this beer. Pours a hazy orange with a decent sized white head. Aroma is slightly sweet with just a hint of fruitiness. Taste is pleasant and mild--just a bit of tartness to go with the sweet, sugary malts. Surprisingly easy to drink.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Appearance: On top there is a small (one finger thick) off white head. It quickly settles down to a thin ring of foam that leaves behind some lace rings on the glass. Smell: Its aroma is fruity, spicy, and tangy with notes of wheat and citrus as well. Taste/Mouth: The flavor has a nice wheat malt base with orange citrus notes, tart cranberry and solid dose of fine Saigon cinnamon. Hop favor and bitterness are very mild. It finishes dry with wheat tang and spice. The texture is lively with plenty of soft carbonation in a medium body. Notes: This is by far the best fruit beer from Samuel Adams! I would love to see this in there regular line up!!

I honestly couldn’t tell there were cranberries in any part of this beer. Maybe they were going for just a light touch of the fruit, but it wound up with nothing to smell/taste. The beer pours out yellow/orange color, nice 2" white head but dissipates quickly. A berry aroma, more like a blend of berries than cranberry, light orange notes, and honey. Flavor has some vague sweetness, almost like table sugar, light fruit notes with a bit of bready malts. No cranberry and honestly no real wit character either.

A nice offering from Boston. A nice looking beer, the cap is thick and creamy, good lace left behind, it had a nice hazy golden-reddish body. Flavors of mildly tart cranberry, some spices, and hints of citrus. Mouthfeel was crisp, and medium bodied.

Both bottles were enjoyed after a pleasing day spent out in the yard. A good warm weather quencher that I surely enjoyed. A sharp, tangy, fruity aroma perks up the senses. Cinnamon is readily evident as well as a medley of miscellaneous spices. Cloudy orange color with a reddish tint. A lasting white head and heavy lacing create a nice appearance. Mouthfeel is faintly tart and light bodied. Dry wheat and grassy malt with a nice orange-lemon citrus taste. Mild cranberry tartness and heavily spices. The cinnamon really stands out in this beer, and it works well. I'm a fan.

pours a strange pinkish golden colour, murky ... . has a great set of foam .. . lacing is good to .. . light sharp cranberry aroma, subtle fruitiness .. . easy to drink, but a bit to sharp for me, but refreshing as a mother... i could enjoy this on a hot day but a bit to muddled for me ... A severed foot is the ultimate stocking stuffer.

Sampled on 4/25/2009. This fruit beer pours a slightly hazy orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, touch of cranberry and some citrus. A light to medium bodied wit beer. The malts are fruity and sweet, touch of yeast. Semi-sweet cranberry flavors. Kind of add to the wit beer. Much better than than some of their other fruit beer. There is a touch of tartness and perhaps a little funk here as well. Good carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet and fruity.
