Had a watery taste to it and could not quite distinguish what the aroma was in this brew. There was no bitterness or aftertaste with this brew.still for a light brew it had a "sam adams" taste like its other beer

pours a nice crystal clear golden amber, lots of carbonation which produced a medium sized head that reduced to a skim and left minimal lacing. The aroma is bready, toasted malts, grainy sweetness, light spice notes. The taste is also bready toasted caramel malts, very sweet overall with minimal hop bitterness. The mouthfeel is light bodied, crisp and refreshing.

Thought I had reviewed this but somehow missed. Sampled a few years ago in a variety pack. Remembered it to be basically a lighter version of their Boston Lager. Little less body, less malt, thinner flavor...but still a decent brew, and one of the better light beers out there.

Pours darker than your normal light, in fact it is more a dark beer than a light. Taste is a little bland but way better than your normal light beer. Overall decent, may have again.

You've read it before. "For a light beer...." Still, can't be much more truth than that. A really nice substitute for the non-light version, still full of body, flavor and aroma. Sure, it's not bursting with it, but it'll fill the void. Malty flavor and aroma but reeled in a bit, light fruit-like sweetness with a crisp, clean finish with just a slight sweet aftertaste. Had a few of these recently and surpised at how much flavor they can still put in a beer with under 125 calories.

poured a medium amber color with a one finger head that was slow to disappear. Smelled and taste of malt with a very good flavor and taste putting it ahead of any light beers that I have tried

Not what I was expecting in a light beer, in a good way. Poured a deep orange body with a cap that faded quickly, aroma of malt. Mouthfeel was quite full for a light, flavor had malt with a very slight Grassy hop presence. Overall the biggest and heaviest light beer I have run across, it was a nice surprise.

One of the best "light" beers around. Pours a light amber with a very small white head. Smooth malty aroma and taste (which puts it above most other light beers because there is actual taste present).

Purchased in Nashville in a mixed 12-pack of Samuel Adams. Best before SEP 2010 notched on the side of the label. One of the most beautiful looking "light" beer I have seen. Pours a clear amber colour with a big white head, great retention and nice lacing. The nose is malty with notes of bread. Thicker mouthfeel than I expected, so maybe not as easy-drinking as most light beer drinkers would like. Watered-down taste of malt, bread and biscuit. Notes of roasted malt in the aftertaste. Based on their normal Boster lager (which I love) but being a light beer, just not as powerful, but that is normal for what they are trying here. A great light brew.

A crystalline light orange colored beer. Small foamy textured white head rises above. It settles into a nice creamy cap. The nose is malt and light grass. Light to medium body. Crispy finish. Nice blending of malt and grassy hops in the tasting. Really has flavor and character for a Light/Lite Lager.
