This is a hybrid DoppelBock and Abbey Dubbel mixed recipe ale that we fermented on Belgian style ale yeast. Sweet and smooth malt flavors are accompanied by a subtle roasted flavor and Belgian Yeast profile. Picked up a growler of this uniquely blending of styles. A deep brown, reddish tinged beer with a three fingered frothy textured tan head. Very malty. A little muted in the nose. But the Dubbel profile of fruit-malt dominates. Full bodied and creamy.
