Brewed with dedication and patiently aged for an extended period, this mixed fermentation beer is a true labor of love. Selected cultures of Saccharomyces and Brettanomyces yeast, along with lactic acid bacteria, make this beer complex, tart, funky, and delicate. We call it a Nordic Saison. For the best drinking experience, we recommend a serving temperature of 8 degrees Celsius. The beer will continue to develop with additional aging.

375 ml bottle, 2024 vintage, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 7.1%. Murky yellow to orange colour, moderate white head. Nice aroma of brettanomyces / farmhouse, sour fruits, oak and scrumpy. Sour flavour, more of a gueuze than a saison IMO, notes of sour fruits (including lemon), lactic acid, oak and apple cider vinegar.
