Traditionally brewed for Octoberfest, Russell Marzen is a copper-coloured lager with rich, toasted malt aroma balanced by the clean bitterness of German Hops and distinct noble hop aroma.

From Brewery Creek. Good time of year, this, when the Marzens and Octoberfests come out to play. Poured an attractive clear and rich copper beneath a thin and creamy ivory head. Aroma was scarce, perhaps some malt notes here, but the taste more than atoned for the lack of nose. Delicious and tasted more-ish. Good malting yet not overly sweet.
